West Rouge is the lakeside community between Port Union Road and the Rouge River, south of Kingston Road, with Rouge Hills Drive and Lawrence Avenue East as its main streets and Rouge Beach Park at the river mouth. It was developed mostly from the 1960s on, so streets are curving and tree-lined, with detached homes on mid-sized lots and a few pockets of newer infill. Close to the lake the wind dries soil quickly and carries road salt onto front beds, so plant choice matters, and lots near the river valley can be sloped. We do weekly lawn care, aeration and overseeding, cleanups, garden bed work, interlocking and retaining walls, plus snow clearing on seasonal contracts.

West Rouge is a lakeside Scarborough community of large custom-built homes on big lots, sitting between Lake Ontario and the Rouge River mouth. The proximity to the lake influences plant selection (salt-air tolerance matters on the south-facing lots) and the larger lots mean a lot of properties have full outdoor-living buildouts: kitchens, pools, multi-zone stonework. Soil tends to be sandier closer to the lake and shifts to clay as you move north toward Lawrence.
