Downsview grew up around Sheppard Avenue and Dufferin Street in northwest North York, and plenty of people use the name for everything north of there up to Steeles. Keele Street and Jane Street run north-south through it, Sheppard and Wilson Avenues run east-west, and Allen Road brings the 401 traffic in.
